Hello, I’m Nykke — Founder & Lead Designer
Interior design has been part of my life for more than 30 years, and I still love the process of transforming a space into somewhere that feels completely right for the people who live there.
I began my design training at Metropolitan College Belfast before continuing my studies at Arts University Bournemouth. My career has since taken me from Ireland to the USA and across the UK, working within established design practices and gaining experience across residential, hospitality and commercial interiors.
Today, from my studio in Bournemouth, I specialise predominantly in residential interiors — bringing together decades of experience, a creative eye and a practical approach to design.
For me, a beautiful home should never just look good. It should be comfortable, functional and individual to you. I take the time to understand how my clients live, what they love and what they want from their home, creating considered interiors that feel personal, timeless and effortless.

My Design Ethos
At Nykke Jones Interiors, I believe a beautifully designed home should be as individual as the people who live in it.
My approach is centred around creating timeless, considered interiors that balance style with everyday living. I don’t believe in imposing a particular look or following trends for the sake of it. Instead, I take time to understand how my clients live, what they love, and how they want their home to feel.
With over 30 years of interior design experience, I bring together colour, texture, proportion, furniture and carefully chosen details to create spaces that feel effortless, comfortable and beautifully put together. Practicality is always part of the design — a home should work wonderfully as well as look wonderful.
Every project is personal. Whether refreshing a single room or creating a complete interior scheme, my aim is to make the design process enjoyable and straightforward, guiding clients from the initial ideas through to the finishing touches.
